Pageflakes is a very cool interactive website that allows you to add just about any sort of content you want to quickly view. You can set this site as your home page and then when you get online you can quickly see all of your favorite websites or just a few of the news websites to browse while having your morning coffee. As you can see below, you can also put your hotmail accounts, gmail accounts and even a little moving spider for amusement on your home page.
Software
So if you have followed any of my blogs so far and have gotten the Piclens software then you will definitely want to begin using this website and software as well. Flickr is a place to share photos for free. The great thing about Flickr is that the site has Piclens enabled. So you can browse through tons of photos within the 3D environment of Piclens. Once you are using Flickr you can download the software called Flickr uploader. Once you download it, drag the flickr icon you see below to your applications folder.
I know I was extremely hesitant at first, however, it looks legit and it looks fairly simple. The thing about it is, searching by yourself will not get you paid a lot of money fast, however, if you sign people up you get 25% of their points. So the more you sign up the more you get. The payout is as follows: for the first 6500 pts you get $25, 12,500 you get $50, and 25,000 you get $100. Not a bad idea for just simple using this search engine. Oh and another thing about it is, you get the results from google, yahoo and msn.
If you are interested, click the link over to the left of my website and sign up and start earning cash. Sounds like you get them in the form of visa gift cards. A very cool and simple idea if you ask me.
Well i don’t have an iPhone or an iTouch just yet, however, I did find this today. Simplehelp put up a post with 20 different resources for iPhone and iTouch wallpapers. Seems to be a very nice list with some cool wallpapers. My question is where is this stuff for my imac???
This software is probably some of the coolest software out there today. PicLens transforms your browser into a full-screen, 3D browser for online photos and videos. While its really mostly eye candy it actually does allow you to quickly view a large number of photos in a short time. The only drawback currently is the limited number of websites that are set up for this, however, they are some of the big name websites: Flickr, YouTube, Myspace, Facebook, Google, Yahoo and a few others.
When I first purchased my apple computer just recently, one of the first things i started doing was putting together this website. I will admit that i read a few articles on google adsense and thought hey i can make money too. It all sounded so easy initially so I started up iweb and began putting together this website. I soon found out that none of it was as easy as I thought it was going to be. One of the first things i realized i wanted to do was to add those submission tags that you see at the bottom of articles.
I figured how hard could it be when i could add html snippets into iweb in a matter of seconds. Well it turned out to be much harder than I thought so i did some research and found iweb Buddy. So i purchased it with only adding these in mind, not knowing what else it could do. What i got was so much more. (more…)
This is something i just learned on my mac so I figured I would share it. This could very well be information most everyone knows, however, I didn’t so i am sure some of you out there could use it. Like I have said before, I just recently bought a mac and this is a learning experience for me. When you start your computer there are always programs that are automatically running. On a regular PC, you can go to a couple of different places to edit these. On a Mac you simply go to System Preferences, Accounts Pane. If you use quicksilver just begin typing accpane and it will pop up. (more…)
One thing i have noticed recently is the amount of content out there dedicated to making money on blogs. In fact, if you really pay attention to the top blog sites out there and what the majority of their content is, you would notice that they all discuss how to be successful at blogging. They discuss what search engine optimization is, how to make money off blogs, how to create a blog, using adwords, using meta tags, etc… the list goes on and on. So basically, these sites are making money off the topics of how to make money. Isn’t that genius? I certainly think so. Hopefully once i make money i can just dedicate this site to how i made the money. With that in mind here is a top 10 list of the best “how to blog” articles i have found in my research.
1. Make Money Blogging - this is one of many of probloggers.net blog writeups and its a good one. Its a list of his top 10 revenue sources for his blogging websites.
Don’t ask me how I came across this information because I don’t quit recall how and when it happened. It just did over the years and I have been able to use it to resolve many people’s computer issues and make a few bucks off of it.
Removing viruses or spyware off your computer can be very easy but can also be very time consuming. As long as you know where to look, you can speed up this process while doing it yourself rather than calling in the dreaded geeksquad from Bestbuy. Not to mention save yourself a couple of hundred bucks.
