This is such a great tip, I just found out about it myself and I was so excited when I first used it. Many widgets keep old information and they don’t always update the way they should. I have experienced this a lot with the ESPN widget included with Mac OS X: old hockey match didn’t go away and new one were not up to date. Another example is you enter information into the yellow page widget and you wish you could just erase it with a simple click. The best is it works with all widgets! You just have to click on the desired widget, hit command-R and Boom! I really mainly use the stock widgets, quicken widget and date widget, however, this is a nice little piece of info that would help with yellow page and others.

You can easily take a screenshot in OS X with a few simple keystokes:
“shift-command-3″ will capture the whole screen and save the file on the desktop.
“shift-command-4″ will capture the area you select with the cursor after pressing the keys and the file will be saved on the desktop.
You can also hold “ctrl” when taking the screenshot to place the file in the clipboard instead of saving it on the desktop.
These simple but very useful features are actually one of the things i love most about my new mac. You can basically get a picture of anything online without having access to the actual picture.
Lately I have had requests from friends to develop websites for them. So I embarked on this new journey to begin fooling around with developing basic websites and to have them show up on google. I figured how hard could it be to get on google. Especially, if i was building an industry specific website for someone such as a physical therapy website for a new business in Macon, GA. It has actually turned out to be a much harder endeavor and as of recently I have found out that there are companies out there that specialize in this and charge quit a lot of money to do this. I put together this list that I came up with. It is by no means the only way to go about getting googled. But it worked for me and it was free.
Not that anyone would notice, lol, but I must apologize for not posting lately. I have been busy building websites for several friends. I know all of you have been wondering what has happened and i just want to let you all know that i will be posting more of my usual fantastic content in the days to come.
Also I attempting to get an invite to Jaiku and will be doing a write up about it once i get an invite.
Pageflakes is a very cool interactive website that allows you to add just about any sort of content you want to quickly view. You can set this site as your home page and then when you get online you can quickly see all of your favorite websites or just a few of the news websites to browse while having your morning coffee. As you can see below, you can also put your hotmail accounts, gmail accounts and even a little moving spider for amusement on your home page.
So if you have followed any of my blogs so far and have gotten the Piclens software then you will definitely want to begin using this website and software as well. Flickr is a place to share photos for free. The great thing about Flickr is that the site has Piclens enabled. So you can browse through tons of photos within the 3D environment of Piclens. Once you are using Flickr you can download the software called Flickr uploader. Once you download it, drag the flickr icon you see below to your applications folder.
I know I was extremely hesitant at first, however, it looks legit and it looks fairly simple. The thing about it is, searching by yourself will not get you paid a lot of money fast, however, if you sign people up you get 25% of their points. So the more you sign up the more you get. The payout is as follows: for the first 6500 pts you get $25, 12,500 you get $50, and 25,000 you get $100. Not a bad idea for just simple using this search engine. Oh and another thing about it is, you get the results from google, yahoo and msn.
If you are interested, click the link over to the left of my website and sign up and start earning cash. Sounds like you get them in the form of visa gift cards. A very cool and simple idea if you ask me.
Well i don’t have an iPhone or an iTouch just yet, however, I did find this today. Simplehelp put up a post with 20 different resources for iPhone and iTouch wallpapers. Seems to be a very nice list with some cool wallpapers. My question is where is this stuff for my imac???
This software is probably some of the coolest software out there today. PicLens transforms your browser into a full-screen, 3D browser for online photos and videos. While its really mostly eye candy it actually does allow you to quickly view a large number of photos in a short time. The only drawback currently is the limited number of websites that are set up for this, however, they are some of the big name websites: Flickr, YouTube, Myspace, Facebook, Google, Yahoo and a few others.
