Terry Babcock is the front office manager for Macon Rehabilitation and Performance Center.  With more than 27 years of professional and administrative experience, she is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. Terry has received numerous awards and recognition for her service in the field of Property Management, and now brings her years of award-winning experience to MRPC.

Terry and her husband, Don reside in Warner Robins.  They have two children, Brandon and Clarrissa.  In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking, bird-watching, and spending time with her two miniature Schnauzers, Rippy and Roxy.  Terry looks forward to serving you at our Macon location.


 
Sammy Bonfim

Sammy K. Bonfim, P.T, M.S serves as the Founder and President of Macon Rehabilitation & Performance Center, Inc.  Sammy is a regionally known orthopedic physical therapy specialist and master clinician who has treated patients from all over the United States.  For nearly the past decade, Sammy has worked in a variety of clinical settings providing physical therapy care for patients in the acute, rehab, and outpatient arenas.  he has treated patients ranging from professional athletes in the NBA, professional golfers, intercollegiate/high school soccer, basketball, tennis athletes, rodeo and water-sport athletes.  In addition, to the sports population, Sammy has provided outpatient services for patients ranging in age from pediatric/adolescent to the elderly and geriatric population.  Sammy is also a content expert in Industrial Rehabilitation and Performance Testing with Functional Capacity Evaluations and Impairment Calculations/Ratings.

As a board certified and licensed physical therapist living in Macon, Georgia, Sammy managed and directed a physical therapy clinic for a national rehabilitation firm. During this tenure, Sammy won numerous awards and was a part of the most successful region in the entire United States. After 5 years of successful growth and clinical accolades, Sammy branched away from the corporate environment and founded the Macon Rehabilitation & Performance Center in June of 2008. Mr. Bonfim currently works fulltime in private practice outpatient physical therapy in Macon, Georgia. His clinical interests include sports specific upper/lower extremity stability training, core lumbopelvic and scapular stabilization, extremity and spinal manual mobilization, spinal instability and postural restoration, biomechanical analysis of the foot & ankle, gait analysis, sports performance testing, industrial rehabilitation and ergonomics, functional capacity testing, and impairment/disability rating/calculations.

Prior to clinical practice, Mr. Bonfim completed his undergraduate degree from Mercer University’s College of Liberal Arts with a degree in the Biological Sciences. He also participated as a member of Mercer's Men’s NCAA Intercollegiate Soccer Team as a four-year scholarship letterman. In 1998, was Sammy was one of 24 graduate students accepted in the Military College of Georgia at North Georgia College and State University.  He successfully completed his Graduate School Residency in Mobile, Alabama at the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.  In 2001, he completed and his graduate thesis entitled The Female Athlete:  A Descriptive Study of Biomechanics, Isokinetic Strength, and Knee Joint Laxity. Mr. Bonfim received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001.
