Dr. Donna Payne joined Primary Pediatrics in July 2006. She graduated from the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA in June of 2003. She completed her residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Ga in June 2006. She is originally from Columbus, Ga. She enjoys exercising, playing tennis, cooking and taking care of her son Max.
Dr. William Tift is one of the partners who founded Primary Pediatrics in 1998. He received his bachelor’s degree from Yale University in 1967 and graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1971. He completed two years of residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia from 1971-1973 and one year of residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in London from 1973-1974. Dr. Tift is married to Sharon Follette Tift and has three children and six grandchildren. He enjoys golf, fly fishing, and banjo picking.
Dr. Gabriella Kacsoh joined Primary Pediatrics in January of 2002. She graduated from the Semmelweis University School of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary and completed her residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA from 1996-1999. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and enjoys photography and reading. She is married to Balint Kacsoh, MD, PhD and has 3 children: Balint, Dori, and Adam.
Dr. Kallay is one of partners who founded Primary Pediatrics in 1998. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mercer University in 1978 and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1982. He completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1985. He is a graduate of Leadership Macon, past president of the Bibb County Medical Society, and the past Chair of Pediatrics at both the Medical Center of Central Georgia and the Coliseum Medical Center. He has served on the board of the Georgia chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has also chaired the Children’s Hospital board, and is currently Chairman of the Central Georgia Health Network (CGHN), the Medical Center of Central Georgia physician hospital organization. Dr. Kallay is married and has 6 children. Some of his hobbies include: hunting, fishing, farming, and cooking.
Dr. Chris Cawley joined Primary Pediatrics in July 2008. He received his bachelors degree from Georgia College and State University in 1997 and graduated from the Mercer University School of Medicine in 2005. He completed residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in 2008. Dr. Cawley is married to Courtney Cawley and has 2 children: Chandler Cawley who is 5 years old and Kip Cawley who is 3 years old. Dr. Cawley enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling in his spare time.
Dr. Jason Smith joined Primary Pediatrics in July 2004. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mercer University in 1995 and his masters from Georgia College and State University in 1997. He graduated from the Mercer University School of Medicine in 2001. Dr. Smith completed his residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in 2004. He is married to Tammy Smith and has three boys: Jase, 7 years old, Cope, 4 years old, and Cale, 1 year old. Dr. Smith enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
Dr. Lance Slade joined Primary Pediatrics in July 2004. He received his bachelors degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1997 and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2001. He completed his residency at the Mercer University School of Medicine in June 2004. He and his wife Toni have been married for 10 years and have one child, Spencer. They attend Northway Church. Some of his hobbies include: basketball and golf. He is also a big fan of Georgia Tech sports.
Eugene Wynn Kallay, II
Jennifer Silas Campbell joined Primary Pediatrics in 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and attended graduate school at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. In 2004, she graduated from Kennesaw State University’s Wellstar Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. Jennifer is happily married to Gene Campbell and the proud mother of Kaleb age 6 years, and Chloe 21 months. They are expecting their third child!
